TUITION PAYMENTS

All tuition is based on the season, September through May, not by individual class.  Your monthly rate will remain the same regardless of the number of instruction weeks in each month.  The monthly payment plan is your annual tuition divided into nine equal monthly payments, from September through May. The month of May requires full tuition payment.

 

NOTE:  All tuition payments are due by the first day of each month.  There is a ten day grace period.  A $30.00 late fee will be applied to any past due balance paid after the 10th of each month.  Your child will be unable to continue in class if tuition payment is two months past due.  

 

Make sure your child’s name is clearly marked for payment. We accept payment by CASH, CHECK or CREDIT CARD. (Our service fee for processing credit cards is 3%)

 

For your convenience, we offer three payment plans:

 

1. Annual Payment: Payment must be made by the first class attended.

 

2. Semi-Annual Payment: First payment is due at the time of registration and the second payment is due by January 10th, 2022.                              

 

3. Monthly Payment: Payment is due by the 1st of each month. A $30.00 late fee will be applied to any past due balances, paid after the 10th of each month.

 

No tuition refunds or credits will be given due to absenteeism.  No tuition refunds will be granted if a student leaves before completing the month.  Tuition payments and lessons are non- transferable.

 

There is a $35.00 fee for any checks returned for insufficient funds.

We will be sending all correspondence and studio information through e-mail. We  ask that you be sure your computer does not reject our emails as spam, you may need to fix your mailbox accordingly. Our website is ultimatedancecomplex.com, please visit it for any information needed.

 

SNOW DAYS

 

Morning classes will be cancelled when the Peters Township School District is closed due to inclement weather.  We will not be closed if there is a delay. Cancellation of afternoon classes will be determined by 2:00 PM.  On questionable snow days please check our website ultimatedancecomplex.com and Facebook.  Classes are rarely cancelled and will not be rescheduled.  

 

PERSONAL PROPERTY

 

Ultimate Dance Complex will NOT be responsible for any personal property, including jewelry.  All shoes and dance bags should be labeled with the student’s name.  Check the Lost and Found periodically for any missing items.  Any items in the Lost and Found box at the end of each semester will be donated to a local charity.

 

DANCE STUDIO

 

Students and parents are not permitted in the dance studios without a teacher present.  No food or drink will be allowed in the dance studios, with the exception of water.  Feel free to have snack foods upstairs in the lobby, but WATER ONLY downstairs in the studios and locker room.

 

LEAVING THE BUILDING

 

We are not responsible for the safety of your child if he/she leaves our facility for any reason.  Parents should come inside to pick up their children.  Parents, please be prompt in picking up your child.  Advise your child to stay inside until you arrive. The teacher will be busy teaching and will not be in the lobby to supervise your child.

 

PARENTS/VISITORS WEEK

 

Parents will be permitted to observe their child’s classes during the weeks of November 15 - 20 and February 28 - March 5. This gives parents a chance to see what the students are learning in each of their classes.  In order to make this lesson productive, we ask that all observers please keep conversations in the dance studio to a minimum.

 

***For private lessons, duets, and/or trios:  Parents will be permitted in the studio for the whole lesson during observation weeks only, however, they are welcome to observe their student for the last 5 minutes of the class regularly.

 

TERMINATION OF ALL CLASSES (Company Excluded)

 

Written notice is required if you wish to withdrawal from all classes.  Please hand in to the office or mail to:

***As soon as we receive your notice, you will no longer be billed.  NO TUITION REFUNDS OR CREDITS WILL BE GIVEN DUE TO ABSENTEEISM.  NO TUITION REFUNDS WILL BE GRANTED IF A STUDENT LEAVES BEFORE COMPLETING THE MONTH.  TUITION PAYMENTS AND LESSONS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.  

 

DRESS CODE

 

It is essential that proper dance apparel be worn to all dance and gymnastic classes.  This is important so that the instructor can observe body movements and make the necessary technical corrections.

The dress code will be strictly enforced by all instructors.

  • Dancewear must be worn to all classes, including gymnastics.

  • All hair must be pulled back neatly, preferably in a ponytail or bun

  • No jewelry

  • Proper shoes must be worn to all classes. Your child will not be permitted in class without proper dance shoes

 

Combination Class:  Any dancewear can be worn.  If wearing tights, please wear convertible.  Black tap shoes and pink ballet shoes.

 

Jazz: May wear yoga pants, booty shorts, bra top and tanks. NO BAGGY CLOTHES.  Half soles, Capezio Sophia Lucia Turning Point, for all jazz classes will be required for the recital. You may wear jazz shoes for class.

 

Ballet/Lyrical: Any dancewear is permitted. Please wear something tighter; teachers need to see bodylines. Students may wear pink ballet shoes for class, but half soles for Recital (COMPANY must wear black leotard and pink tights, hair in a bun. Pink ballet shoes with elastic attached. Split-sole ballet slippers are recommended)

 

Gymnastics: Tight clothes, nothing baggy. No shoes or socks. Hair in a ponytail.

 

Hip Hop: Sweat Pants are permitted. Any kind of tennis shoe with no grip on the bottom of them, however these shoes should only be worn for hip-hop.

Dance shoes are NEVER to be worn outdoors. This will damage our dance floors and your shoes. PLEASE mark all shoes with your child’s name inside.

 

ATTENDANCE

 

Regular attendance is a MUST. Each student is important to the progress of the whole class. Interest is kept when there is progress and development. Irregular attendance slows both. Please be prompt. It is much appreciated by the staff and other students if all students arrive on time.  Classes missed due to sickness, etc. are non-refundable and cannot be made up.  

 

Privates, duets/trios:  In the case of insufficient notice given to the teacher, you will be charged for the class/teacher’s time.
